Product Description Sensitive Plant Seeds, also known as Mimosa pudica. This is a really fasinating plant. With the slightest touch the leaves shut and fall towards the stem. It is a tropical plant for containers. Please bring it indoors for the winter.

Fast shipping. I have four happy plants growing right now with a ton of extra seeds. All seeds sprouted that I planted.
Slow to grow, but very neat! July 2, 2010 A. Show 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My husband and I first saw this (or a similar) plant while on a river raft on our honeymoon in Jamaica. They were huge and the guide called them "Shy Ladies". We tried 5 seeds and 4 came up. It's been a few months and they are now about 6-7 inches tall and very dainty. They are fun to touch and watch curl and bend--my husband thinks it's "mean" but I tell him it's good exercise for them :) They even flinch when water is sprayed on them! They also curl up each night at bedtime. I teach science and look forward to using them in class next year as we study adaptations.

I haven't planted them yet, but the instructions are simple and thorough so I'm satisfied.
These seeds germinate! May 2, 2010 I. W. Fulton 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As a botanist, I have tried sensitive plant seeds from other sources and they gave very low or no germination. After soaking for 2 or 3 days, I am getting over 50% of these seeds sprouting and producing vigorous young plants.
Sensitive plant seeds June 22, 2010 David A. Klein (Covington, KY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Delivery was quick and the product was exactly as I expected. I've had great results germinating the seeds. I've planted 10 of them so far and 8 germinated. Good product from a good company. I highly recommend!
